I am blessed to have a daughter, Amanda (15), a stepdaughter, Jennifer (29), and a stepson, Michael (25.) Amanda is a busy teenager doing her best to keep her mother on her toes. She has a busy summer taking Driver's Ed at the local high school. We will do a lot of bonding, since we have to put in 20 hours of drive time, before this class is done in the middle of July. I don't know who is more nervous her or me.
Jennifer is a nurse anesthetist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago. She loves living in Chicago and is planning on marrying her sweetheart Kenny on August 9, 2008.
Michael graduated from the University of Iowa last spring with his Doctor of Pharmacy. He decided to work for Walgreen's in Wilmington, North Carolina. He loves being only minutes away from the beach.
Fifteen months ago, we adopted a lab/pointer mix, black, female puppy - Abby. She has added life to our family. She loves everyone with all the enthusiasm she can muster. She is definitely a lover, not a fighter. Every time we start the grill, Abby comes running from the garage to see if there is anything for her. She even has Bill do her grocery shopping for her. Definitely a spoiled dog, but we love her.
